Geotechnical Prism Installation

We’ve engineered the “Onix” air vehicle to remotely install monitoring prisms in open pit mines along bench walls. The payload underneath is our patented prism holder tripod which is precisely placed along the berm.

This innovation eliminates the need for personnel to manually install prisms in high-risk, hazardous areas, enhancing mine site safety and ensuring greater prism coverage.

DRONE FEATURES

“Onix” is an 8 rotor quadcopter with a 15 kg payload capacity that our team of engineers have custom built specifically to tackle safety issues in mine sites.

The Onix has a flight time of 17-20 minutes and a maximum speed of 12.5 m/s, enabling efficient coverage of large land areas.
