We engineered an air vehicle to remotely install geotechnical prisms in open pit mines to mitigate the hazards from manual installation.

We engineered a specialised Retrieval Arm designed to reposition or retrieve and repair damaged tripods and dirty prisms. This innovative tool allows us to extend the lifespan of prisms by making them reusable, which significantly reduces costs for our clients. Additionally, the Retrieval Arm streamlines the maintenance process, saving valuable time and ensuring that operations can continue with minimal disruption.

We conceptualised, designed, engineered and then manufactured a prism holder tripod. This is now a patented payload that attaches to the Onix air vehicle.
